2125 OCT 2026 · 15 CREATURESThe Small Great WorkA little patience. A little matter. Something begins to move.
Gonks and golems of Air, Earth, Water, Fire, Void and alchemical concoctions

Fifteen small and not-so-small makers awaken where the elements are handled with care. Some wear the weather in their beards. Others carry a river, a furnace, or a carefully kept absence inside their bodies.

Thistledown Gonk gathers the borrowed breezes of Polar Skycurrents while Bellowsknot breathes direction into tired wind. Loamcap waits beside sleeping seeds; Cairnheart remembers where the ground used to be. Dewbeard follows the rain toward the Hidden River, and Cinderwick keeps a forgotten hearth warm. Between all these places, Hushhood saves a silence. The alchemical benches offer stranger company: Retortcap keeps a little of its first mistake, Saltwake preserves the taste of a vanished shore, and Verdigris Mutterer speaks kindly to ruined things. The Keeper of the Fifth Matter has stopped searching for a perfect substance. It is learning to keep the imperfect ones together.

Eleven Common, three Uncommon and one Rare creature join the regular ritual pool. Elements and alchemical concoctions are creature design and fantasy lore, not new battle mechanics or crafting recipes. Existing Wellspring affinities are proposed. The Small Great Work is a release title, not a released Wellspring card. Draw odds, ownership and edition rules remain unchanged.

2025 OCT 2026 · 15 CREATURESThe Cabinet of Second BreathsThe drawers are closed. Something inside is learning to breathe.
Haunted oddities, paired heads, living wet specimens, velvet taxidermy, bone, dolls, birdcages and skeleton keys

Fifteen peculiar lives stir among the forgotten collections. Some were stitched. Some were stoppered. None has agreed to remain an object.

Janus Velvet Shrew dreams in two directions. Ampouleback Olm keeps a last breath, while Latchwing Finch shelters a note behind its breast door. Deeper in the House of Unclaimed Hours, Thimblejaw Ragling mends the sounds the floorboards make. The Bottle-Born Twin watches itself awaken. At the cabinet's far end, the Curator of Second Breaths opens an empty cage. It does not restore the dead. It asks what else a thing might become.

Eleven Common, three Uncommon and one Rare creature join the regular ritual pool. The Cabinet of Second Breaths is a collection within the lore habitat House of Unclaimed Hours, not a released Wellspring card. Existing Wellspring affinities remain proposed; no ownership, edition, draw odds or gameplay rules change.

1924 OCT 2026 · 15 CREATURESThe Hunter's MoonThe grass holds its breath. Something follows the road you did not take.
Terrestrial hunters, watchful prey and the strange lives between their trails

Fifteen land-dwelling creatures step into the long light of the Hunter's Moon. Some listen beneath the bracken. Others keep the paths a careful hunter leaves untouched.

A Coppermask Marten follows a dream through Sleeping Boughs. Burrcloak Tenrec carries the Glassrain Conservatory's waiting drops, while Echochest Knellrunner recognizes the voices ripening in the Echo Orchard. Beyond their familiar borders lies the Hunter's Verge: a country of listening grass, shared crossings and unfinished pursuits. There, Harrowhorn Vigil marks the safe road. The Lanternless Pursuant follows the other one.

Eleven Common, three Uncommon and one Rare creature join the regular ritual pool. Lunar behavior is fantasy lore, not a draw-time restriction. The Hunter's Verge is a lore habitat and future Wellspring candidate, not a released Wellspring card. Existing Wellspring connections are proposed affinities; existing canonical links and gameplay remain unchanged.

1821 OCT 2026 · 15 CREATURESThe Unlit GardenEvery phase tends a different bed. Darkness tends the roots.
Phases of the moon, secret horticulture and three gnome keepers

Silver grows along a feather. Dew waits in a wing. Beneath the darkest bed, something makes room for a seed. Fifteen inhabitants tend a garden that changes its work with the moon.

Quartercap Gnome turns the first terrace toward dawn. Waxwick Gnome prepares the candleflowers, while Eclipsecap Gnome counts seeds without a lamp. Around them, lacewings hold the dew and small silver-backed lives shelter the loam. On the night when the moon shows no face, The Unlit Gardener wakes beneath the beds. It does not bring the light back. It gives the roots somewhere to go.

Eleven Common, three Uncommon and one Rare creature join the regular ritual pool. Lunar habits are fantasy lore, not draw-time restrictions or gardening guidance. The Unlit Garden is a lore habitat, not a released Wellspring card. Ritual odds, First Edition eligibility and gameplay are unchanged.

1719 OCT 2026 · 15 CREATURESNukes and NichesThe world broke. Life found a smaller door.
Fictional fallout ecology, residual warmth, mineral glass and specialized microhabitats

A crack that stays warm. A film of water beneath a stone. An empty mineral cell becoming a home. Fifteen inhabitants of the Glassfall Reserve have found room where the old world left almost none.

The Glassfall Reserve is an imagined ecology after a distant catastrophe. Sinterback Tuatara keeps to the warm cracks, Corelace Bryozoan makes a city from its smallest chambers, and Poolkeeper Mudpuppy holds the coldest pocket of the basin. Farther in, The Patient Core carries the next garden across the cooling ground. These lives are not waiting for the old world to return. They have already begun another one.

Eleven Common, three Uncommon and one Rare creature join the regular ritual pool. Radiation and adaptation here are fantasy lore, not claims about real wildlife. The Glassfall Reserve is a lore habitat, not a released Wellspring card. Ritual odds, First Edition eligibility and gameplay are unchanged.

1616 OCT 2026 · 15 CREATURESThe Last GleaningThe harvest rests. The threshold wakes.
Mabon transitioning into Samhain: harvest, thresholds and remembrance

Oat-husk coats and cider-gold shells give way to blackthorn feathers, turnip-lit gates, and a guest waiting at the unfilled place. Fifteen creatures follow the season from warmth into the veil.

The Gloaming Stubble lies between the last warm furrow and the first winter gate. Its smallest inhabitants keep a grain, a drop, or an ember against the cold. Along the blackthorn boundary, the Lastsheaf Walker searches for anything living left behind. At the harvest table a place remains unfilled, and the Guest Between Harvests waits until it is welcomed.

Original seasonal fantasy inspired by Mabon into Samhain, rather than a depiction of historical ceremonies. Ten Common, four Uncommon and one Rare creature join the regular ritual pool. The Gloaming Stubble is a lore habitat, not a released Wellspring card. No changes to ritual odds, First Edition eligibility, or gameplay mechanics.

1515 OCT 2026 · 15 CREATURESThe Quiet CurrentNo thunder. Only a quiet current.
Motherboards, circuitry, frequencies and low voltage

Ceramic-backed sleepers. Copper paths kept clean by tiny grazers. A mother who shelters the smallest signals. Something is alive between the traces.

The Quiet Backplane is an electronic ecology of warm ceramic ledges, ferrite hush banks and narrow frequency gates. Its inhabitants tend the contacts, carry notes across gaps and keep a gentle light awake for things that are allowed to rest.

Fifteen creatures join the regular ritual pool: ten Common, four Uncommon and one Rare. Their signal abilities are field lore, not implemented battle rules. This release adds no Wellspring card and does not change the ritual odds.

1414 OCT 2026 · 15 CREATURESVisitors from the Inverted OrchardThe rain rises. The roots remember.
First visitors from an unreleased Wellspring

Rootglass quills. Seed-humming feathers. A guardian carrying the fruit of tomorrow. Somewhere beneath our feet, an orchard is growing the other way.

Pale fruit hangs from living roots while rain rises into the earth. Its inhabitants tend the broken sap channels, shelter small travelers and gather the upward rain. These are our first field notes from that place.

The fifteen creatures are released. The Inverted Orchard Wellspring card itself remains behind the veil; no location card has been added to the collection.

1313 OCT 2026 · 15 CREATURESThe House That Kept Its GuestsThe old fixtures were never empty.
Haunted antiques and fixtures

Some news arrives by letter. Some seeps through the walls. Aromatic heartwood scales, sage tucked into sleeping fur, and a copper pot that remembers every kitchen announce that the house has kept more than its furniture.

The House of Unclaimed Hours holds small domestic hauntings with habits of their own. Listen for a bell with wings, a creak that moves, and the warmth beneath a long-abandoned hearth.

Palo Santo Pangolin, Sagebound Dormouse and Simmerpot Toad lead this fifteen-creature release. All remain in the regular ritual pool.

1212 OCT 2026 · 15 WELLSPRINGSWellspringsThe places behind the presences.
Fifteen collectible origin landscapes

A creature is never the whole story. Somewhere there is water it has followed, ground it has crossed, or a place that makes its strange materials feel at home.

The Wellsprings turn the field guide toward landscapes: sleeping boughs, hidden waters, unfamiliar shores and other origins already reflected in the archive.

These are collectible landscape cards in the regular ritual pool. They are not spendable resources and do not unlock battle mechanics.

11Release 11 · 15 CREATURESThe Gossamer CabinetHandle the impossible with care.
Delicate objects and uncommon living forms

Some creatures ask for a gentler kind of attention. Fine surfaces, fragile structures and intricate bodies turn the act of looking into a small exercise in care.

The Gossamer Cabinet takes its cues from delicate things: fine china, bubbles, frostwork, woven threads and other forms that appear one breath away from changing.

Fragility is part of the visual language. No battle weakness or numerical statistic is implied.

10Release 10 · 16 CREATURESThe Velvet MidnightSixteen shapes after the last light.
An after-dark cabinet of unexpected forms

Midnight softens the edges of the ordinary. What remains can be plush, uncanny, playful or difficult to place in a field guide written for daylight.

This sixteen-creature release followed a free creative brief. Its variety is part of its character: a collection of distinct encounters held together by a nocturnal mood.

Sixteen entries belong to this group; most other expansions contain fifteen.

09Release 09 · 15 CREATURESThe Elemental UnderpassWild weather beneath the city.
Elemental life and urban thresholds

A city has more edges than its map admits. Beneath crossings and between built surfaces, the elements find places to behave like living things again.

The Elemental Underpass mixes urban materials with elemental ideas. It is an invitation to watch the built world as closely as a forest floor.

A shared release theme is not a universal origin claim. Individual field notes carry the precise locations.

08Release 08 · 15 CREATURESThe Sunless DunesThe desert keeps its own hours.
Dark desert ecology

Heat can linger after the light has gone. Across dark sands and buried traces, small survivors and larger presences make a world from what the desert refuses to surrender.

This release explores a desert mood through varied creature bodies. Cooled fire, mineral textures and the patient work of surviving give the group its shared atmosphere.

Fifteen creatures entered the regular archive in this expansion. Their eligibility remains attached to each catalog record.

07Release 07 · 15 CREATURESThe Celestial MenagerieTracks across the night sky.
Orbital bodies, strange light and living starlore

The night above the archive is not empty. Some of its lights belong to bodies that move, gather, shelter and grow in ways a ground-bound witness can only begin to describe.

The Celestial Menagerie draws its material language from the sky: luminous membranes, unfamiliar mineral surfaces and forms that carry the feeling of vast distances.

The menagerie is a release collection. Its members keep their individual classifications and habitats.

06Release 06 · 15 CREATURESThe Mischief CabinetSomething has moved the latch.
Curiosities with troublesome intentions

A cabinet can look perfectly orderly until you turn your back. The archive’s mischievous presences thrive in that small interval between certainty and a second glance.

Read their forms as invitations to look again. A familiar object or animal can become a little stranger without losing the character that made it recognizable.

Release history is preserved independently of future game roles. Mischief is a mood, not an implemented combat attribute.

05Release 05 · 15 CREATURESThe Ghostlight BestiaryA lantern in the wrong window.
Ghostlight and quietly haunted places

Not every haunting wants to frighten its witness. Some are unfinished habits: a watch still kept, a procession still passing, a path lit long after its travelers have gone.

The Ghostlight Bestiary follows presences that make absence feel inhabited. Pale materials and spectral details carry the mood, while each creature retains its own habitat and purpose.

These creatures remain in the regular ritual pool. A release’s atmosphere does not change the rarity of a particular draw.

04Early field records · 15 CREATURESEarly Expansion · IVThe world learns stranger shapes.
Echoes, living materials and remembered places

The farther the archive listened, the less certain its old boundaries became. Familiar outlines began to hold unfamiliar materials, and some places seemed to remember being alive.

These records invite a slower reading. Classification gives an encounter a name; the field note asks what the presence might be doing when nobody is there to observe it.

Early expansion titles here are archival labels, not newly declared factions or regions.

03Early field records · 15 CREATURESEarly Expansion · IIILook closer at the small things.
Pollination, reflections and hidden movement

Some presences announce themselves. Others need a watcher willing to stay beside a flower, a reflection or an apparently empty patch of ground.

This expansion widened the field guide through new textures and body forms. Small gestures became clues: something carried, something tended, something heard beneath the surface.

The release grouping records publishing history; individual habitat notes remain the guide to each creature’s origin.

02Early field records · 15 CREATURESEarly Expansion · IIThe paths begin to branch.
Beyond the first clearing

The archive grew outward from its first encounters. New bodies, new materials and stranger habitats began to answer the same patient calling.

Read this group as a collection of discoveries rather than a single homeland. A shared place in the release history does not make every creature a neighbor.

This dossier groups the second catalog expansion. Its field notes are a present-day reading of the retained records.

01First field records · 14 CREATURESThe Founding ArchiveWhere the strange first answered.
Moss, marshlight and the first quiet witnesses

Before there were shelves, there were encounters. A shape beneath the moss. A light moving through water. The first archive learned to listen before it learned to name.

These early records move between woodland, marsh and other small thresholds. Their materials are close enough to touch; their habits suggest that ordinary places have always kept extraordinary company.

Seven original species bear First Edition at every eligible rarity. This founding group contains fourteen entries; the edition mark belongs only to the designated seven, not to every early record.
